How does our programing set us apart?

Are you a book lover, craving a community of like-minded individuals to share your passion with? Look no further than Well Read Women of Omaha, where literature comes alive and friendships are forged.

At Well Read Women of Omaha, our mission is simple: to create a space where women can gather, discuss, and celebrate the beauty of books. Whether you're a devoted bibliophile or just dipping your toes into the world of literature, our book club is the perfect place for you.

  • Book Club

Well-Read Women was started 5 years ago as a book club. The book club is intended for BIPOC women in the greater Omaha area. A book from a BIPOC author is curated monthly for the book clubs meetings. Membership is $30 per year.

  • Well-Read Kids

Adopted classrooms receive a free book each month.

    Fostering reading in our youths.

  • Adopt a Little Library

We noticed several Little Free Libraries that were in need of consistent care and restocking. Well-Read Women Of Omaha has adopted 3 Little Free Libraries (Cluxr House, Highlander, and Healing Roots Garden). Well-Read Women of Omaha has partnered with DIBS to receive books to fill the adopted libraries with.

Partnering with DIBS, allows us access to books that are in need of homes and love.

  • Free Community Library

In partnership with Omaha Fabric Lab, Well-Read Women of Omaha offers a free community library. The library is based upon the idea of “bring a book, take a book”. Each month the library has a new books added.
