Well-Read Women was started 5 years ago as a book club. The book club is intended for BIPOC women in the greater Omaha area.

Established as a non profit August 2021, Well-Read Women of Omaha wishes to help foster a community-led love for reading, through acts of service within the community we serve and scholarship opportunities for college-enrolled black women. Our mission is to support literacy, create programming and empower Black women and children in the Greater Omaha community.
